Frequently Asked Questions

All orders in the lower 48 states ship UPS Ground, FedEx Home, or FedEx Ground and are expected to arrive within 3-7 days. Given the increase in FedEx orders recently, your order may be delayed by a few additional days. Once your order ships we will send out an update with your tracking number so you can follow your order until it’s delivered. Pre-ordered products will ship on the expected ship date mentioned on the product page.

If you placed an order with multiple items they may ship in separate boxes.

We do not offer expedited shipping at this time but are working on ways to do so in the future.

At this time we are only shipping to the US.

Shipping is calculated based on order size, see shipping costs below. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico include additional shipping fees.

We cannot ship to PO Box or APO addresses.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, we accept returns on unopened and unused items and offer refunds minus a 10% restocking fee within 30 days of purchase. Read more about our Return Policy here.

All items marked final sale are not eligible for a return.

Orders that arrive damaged must be reported within 7 days of delivery to be eligible for a replacement. If your item arrived damaged please contact our Customer Care team to file a warranty claim here.

Damaged or defective products are covered under our 365 day limited warranty. If you believe you have received damaged or defective merchandise, please immediately discontinue use of the product and submit a warranty claim here.

This warranty is only valid when products are used for their intended purpose. Damages or defects resulting from the following circumstances are not covered under the warranty-

•Accidents such as staining, soiling, puncturing or cutting
•Damage caused by heavy furniture or equipment
•Damage caused by pets
•Damage caused by improper cleaning methods/materials

Our play mats are made with premium quality, non-toxic EVA foam that is rigorously tested to not only comply with our internal quality and safety requirements, but go above and beyond those required in the US. Visit our product safety page for more information.

Each Little Nomad play mat is thoughtfully designed to connect seamlessly to grow and change with you and your family. Multiple play mats can be connected to create a different size than what's listed.

Please note, because of the hand-painted nature of our designs, there may be some natural variation in pattern alignment.

Little Nomad Play Mats are suitable for all ages (0+ months).

Most customers anchor the play mat against a wall or with a heavy toy basket. If you prefer to use the mat in the center of the room we do suggest a standard size (4x6, 6x8) non-slip rug pad.

Mats can be placed on low-pile carpet but we do not recommend using them on medium to high pile carpeting.

Our mats are durable enough for daily use and are generally pet friendly. However, if your pet can damage or scratch other objects in your home that are made of leather, rubber, vinyl, etc. they may be able to damage or scratch your mat as well.

Our mats are non-toxic, however we recommend you contact your veterinarian if your pet ingests any portion of the mat as you would for any object that is considered inedible.

We offer two luxurious fabrics:

Textured Linen Weave: A textured linen-like fabric, available in over 20 colors and patterns like stripes, florals, and checks.

Boucle: A soft, cozy fabric, available in 7 solid colors.

Yes, this is a must for everything we do. All fabrics are removable and machine-washable, making it easy to keep your pieces looking fresh. Plus, Ottomans come with waterproof liners and you have the option to add a waterproof liner to the Seat and Armrests to protect the foam and simplify assembly.

Yes, our furniture is designed for kids first! It’s soft yet sturdy enough for young children, with no sharp edges or hard surfaces. The foam is cushioned for comfort and safety, and the pieces are lightweight for easy rearranging and fort-ability. 

The furniture is designed to be soft and comfy for kids, yet strong enough for older children and even adults to lounge on. It’s built to withstand daily use, whether it's playtime or relaxation. Please note, the backrests and armrest do not attach to the base (we’re working on a solution for this!) and caution should be taken when leaning on back or armrests. 

Definitely. While it’s primarily designed for children, the modular setup is spacious and sturdy enough for adults to enjoy, making it perfect for family spaces.

Easy. Assemble your pieces in a few simple steps. Once you receive and unpack the foam, allow it to expand for 24-48hrs. Once expanded, zip the fabric onto the foam pieces and enjoy. We recommend using our waterproof liners for extra protection (these come included with all Ottomans and Coffee Tables), but also for added slip to make assembling easier.

No. Our soft furniture is not to be used as a mattress or for sleep.

The Nama Standing Mat is made of high density foam with printed top fabric.

If you find your mat moving on slick flooring, you can affix additional rug gripper stickers that are placed in each corner. These can be found online or at many local home-goods stores.

The Nama Standing Mat is not recommended for use in bathrooms or wet environments and should not be stepped on with wet feet as the surface of the mat may be slippery when your feet are wet.

Shoes with a flat bottom are best. Do not wear high-heeled shoes as the sharp heels can damage the surface.

Yes! We designed these mats with big moves in mind. Each one features a sturdy foam base layer topped with soft memory foam, providing the perfect amount of squish for stumbles, tumbles or mid-day siestas.

We do not recommend using our tumbling mats outdoors. Direct sun exposure should be avoided.

Not at all! From the living room, to their bedroom and back again - the portable design makes moving the mat between rooms effortless. Plus, we know space is precious, so each mat folds up compactly, tucking away under a bed or in a closet when not in use.

Our bath mats are made of 100% hand tufted cotton with a latex coated backing, with the exception of the Checks Bath Mat which is reversible 100% hand woven cotton on both sides.

The liner is memory foam with 100% terry cotton front and TPE coated polyester mesh fabric backing.

Due to the hand woven nature of our bath mats, some shedding could happen.

We do not currently offer color swatches or samples.

We do not offer custom mat orders.

We do not offer single tiles for purchase. Our Play Mats are sold in packs of 6 or 8 tiles, so depending on the size you are creating or replacing, you may have tiles left over.
