Assembly + Care: Soft Furniture

Everything you need to know to keep your soft furniture pieces looking like new.

Ottoman Assembly

Important! Decompress your foam for at least 48 hours before assembly. This ensures your fabric will fit tightly on the foam and look its best.

*Don’t skip the waterproof liner! It protects the foam and makes it easier to put the fabric cover on.

  1. Lay the waterproof liner down flat and unzip.

  2. Place the flat side of the foam into the cover and make sure it lays evenly across the fabric insert (It helps to place the foam as centered as possible, then tug the fabric from both sides and not one side at a time for best results)

  3. Smooth the liner around the edges.

  4. Repeat steps for the fabric covers.

  5. There are small pockets to hide the zippers when finished.

Washing Instructions

Life gets messy. That’s why our fabric covers are designed to handle it all. Fully machine washable, they’re made for easy cleanup whenever spills and smudges happen.

Instructions:

Remove the foam and toss the covers in the wash on cold and tumble dry low, separately. For smaller spills, a quick spot clean with gentle detergent does the trick. Do not bleach, dry clean or iron.

Zip the fabric covers closed before washing to prevent snags, and avoid overloading the machine for the best clean. If needed, reshape while damp and let air dry to maintain their best fit. For stubborn stains, pre-treat with a gentle, bleach-free stain remover before washing.

How to best use your ottoman

  • Endlessly Versatile

Use your ottoman as a footrest, extra seat, mini side table, or an extra piece for fort-building and play. Layer a new pattern or color to complete your play setup.

  • Perfectly Babyproof

No corners, no problem. Our ottomans are the perfect soft-edged surface to have around little ones, and even serve as a great height for littles learning to pull up.

  • Small Space Hero

In playrooms, nurseries, or cozy corners, ottomans pull double duty – seat, table, or soft landing spot. Easy to move and tuck away neatly.
